Christmas at Granshaw

As we enter December and begin to prepare for Christmas there can be so much happening in our busy lives. There is also a lot going on at Granshaw, with a number of special services and events coming up.

Project25

Yesterday saw the launch of Project25,  and we hope that you will join us in taking some time out of a really busy period to focus on God. Each day between now and Christmas Day we have suggested something that you and your family can do to experience the real meaning of Christmas.

If you would like to follow along with us or find out more you can do so by visiting the Project 25 page.

This Sunday sees the start of our Christmas Services. Join us for our Advent Service at 11 am.

The JAM Christmas Party will take place on Saturday 9th December. Further details will be provided to the children at JAM this week.

On Sunday 10th December we have our Gift Service at 11 am. At this service, we think about those less fortunate than ourselves and how difficult Christmas can be for some families in Northern Ireland.

Families are asked to bring presents and place them under the tree for those children in and around the Belfast area who may not get many gifts this year.

Our Christmas Engage Carol Service will be at 7 pm on 10th December at Moneyreagh Community Centre. Our Engage service brings Church into the community and is a relaxed and informal time to worship together.

On 17th December our JAM Nativity Play will be at 11 am and this will be led by the children.

At 7 pm on 17th December, there will be a service of Carols by Lamplight.

On the morning of 24th December, Christmas Eve, there will be a service of Carols at 11 am.

The Family Christmas Eve service at 6 pm is a time for the whole family to come together and prepare to celebrate Christmas. We will also check in for an update on how the big man in the red suit is doing with his deliveries on this busy evening.

On Christmas morning we would love for you to come and join us to celebrate at our Family Service at 10 am.

On New Year's Eve, there will be a short service at 11 am.

Ball in the Hall

Later on that evening our teenagers will celebrate New Year's Eve together with their Ball in the Hall. Tickets are available at any of the youth organisations or by contacting AK on 07969095696 or ak@granshaw.org

We hope that you will be able to join us at these services and events over the Christmas period.
